AO5 – Advisor (Document Control)

We are partnering with a leading Queensland Government to recruit an experienced AO5 – Advisor (Document Control). In this role you will l be part of the Project document control team and be responsible for project document control activities to support successful delivery of the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail (LGC) project.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and coordinate updates to various Project Document Control Management Plans and procedures, ensuring consistent application and adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support all users of the document management processes to ensure processing of documents and communications are compliant, efficiently, and captured in a timely manner.
  • Continually assess the solutions provided for document and information management activities and services provide help to your team with ongoing improvements.
  • Ensure all documents and information provided to the LGC team are securely stored, tracked, and responded to by the relevant team members and external parties as per project document management plans and contractual timeframes.
  • Facilitate regular training session with project team members on document control procedures and TeamBinder usage.
  • Coordinate the complex review and approval processes for all Program / Package related documentation
  • Coordinate the Administration / Transfer of project data sources such as InEight Document (TeamBinder), MS Teams, SharePoint and Content Manager.
  • Ensure documents generated by the LGC project are stored in compliance with the Project Document Management Plan and are in conjunction with the Queensland State Record Keeping Policies.

What we’re looking for?

  • Proven, hands-on experience using InEight Document (TeamBinder) is essential for this position.
  • Strong track record managing complex project documentation, engineering drawings, or technical specifications within a large-scale project, construction, or government environment.
  • Familiarity with data flows and information platforms like SharePoint, MS Teams, or corporate recordkeeping tools (e.g., Content Manager).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to train team members, enforce compliance, and manage stakeholder timelines.
  • Exceptional organization skills to accurately process large volumes of data without sacrificing quality or security.
