Maintenance Manager

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking an experienced

Maintenance Manager for our client supporting drilling operations based in Bullsbrook, WA.

This role will suit a hands-on Maintenance Manager with strong experience in Drilling, Mining & Resource Sector Maintenance Operations delivery, ideally within heavy mobile plant, drilling equipment, workshop, and remote site maintenance environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance team to achieve maximum equipment reliability and availability
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules across drilling and support equipment
• Assign and prioritise daily work orders for field fitters and workshop personnel
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to maintenance teams
• Ensure repairs and maintenance are completed to manufacturer and client specifications
• Manage parts procurement and urgent breakdown requirements
• Liaise with operations teams, field supervisors, and client representatives
• Monitor equipment performance and downtime targets
• Ensure maintenance records, inspections, and compliance documentation are maintained
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance operations
• Support site visits and field-based maintenance activities as required
• Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture throughout the business

Our Ideal Candidate

• Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic or Fitter
• Previous experience managing maintenance teams in mining, drilling, civil, or heavy industry environments
• Strong experience with preventative maintenance systems and scheduling
• Proven diagnostic, fault-finding, hydraulic, and engine rebuilding experience
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to operational requirements after hours
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Experience managing workshop and field maintenance operations
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Willingness to travel to remote sites when required
