Business Development Manager

CampusQ is hiring.

We’re looking for a driven Business Development Manager to help grow our education technology portfolio - spanning assessment, compliance intelligence, operational, and student management platforms, as well as consultancy services, delivered to education providers across Australia and internationally. Our solutions leverage AI to help clients streamline operations, improve outcomes, and stay ahead of the curve.

About the role

Based in Sydney with hybrid flexibility, this is a full-time position where you'll work directly with leadership and play a meaningful role in shaping the next stage of our commercial growth.

Day-to-day, you’ll:

• Build and progress commercial relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Run strategic conversations, product demos and tailored presentations
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle - from lead generation through to contract close
• Identify new opportunities across products and consulting services, in both Australian and international markets
• Collaborate with internal teams to align solutions with client needs
• Contribute to business planning and provide regular reporting to leadership

What we're looking for

This role suits someone who:

• Knows how to build and nurture high-value client relationships
• Is confident running commercial conversations with autonomy and professionalism
• Has experience in SaaS, education technology, B2B sales, consulting or partnerships
• Can interpret market trends and translate them into actionable pipeline
• Is comfortable leveraging AI tools to work smarter and identify opportunities
• Communicates clearly - in writing, in a room, and across cultures
• Has current, unrestricted working rights in Australia

A background in business development, account management or a related commercial role is essential. Experience in technology, AI-powered platforms, or solutions-based environments is highly regarded.
