In this position you will provide management, leadership, guidance and supervision of the Specialist Youth Mental Health Services Illawarra Shoalhaven. These services include Adolescent Inpatient Unit & Adolescent Day Unit (AIPU) located at Shellharbour Hospital, Child, Adolescent and Youth Mental Health Service (CAYMHS) Illawarra and Shoalhaven, comprising Eating Disorders Service, COPMI, School Link, GOT-IT, Peri-natal Mental Health Services, the Illawarra and Shoalhaven Older Persons Mental Health Service (OPMHS), Community Team Inpatient Unit and the Whole of Family Team (WFT).
In conjunction with the Director of Mental Health Services and Operations Manager Illawarra this position is responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of services, systems and policies that support the delivery and coordination of recovery focused care for the older persons and young people with Mental Health issues, including those with complex and multiple needs. This position provides leadership, guidance, supervision and management of both Community and Inpatient Teams.
