Working within a supportive and collaborative environment, you will lead a small Internal Sales team focused on outbound calling, lead generation and project engagement across the Australian construction market.

About The Role

This role is heavily focused on outbound sales activity, lead generation and construction project engagement across Australia. You will work closely with the broader sales team to identify opportunities, qualify leads and maintain accurate CRM data to support ongoing business growth.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of 2-5 Internal Sales Representatives
  • Conducting outbound calls to qualify and verify construction project leads
  • Monitoring team activity, performance and lead conversion outcomes
  • Researching projects across online construction platforms and government websites
  • Updating and maintaining CRM records and customer information
  • Following up with builders, contractors and project stakeholders
  • Assisting the sales team with quotations and project tracking
  • Identifying new business opportunities and supporting ongoing sales activity
  • Delivering high-level customer service and administrative support

About You

To be successful, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within internal sales, outbound calling, lead generation or customer service environments
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
  • Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • A proactive, commercially minded and results-driven attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment

Experience within construction, manufacturing or industrial products will be highly regarded, though not essential.
