Positions

Family Lawyer - having Unrestricted Lawyer Practicing License

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and representation in family law matters (parenting, property settlements, spousal maintenance, family violence, consent orders, divorces).
• Conduct client interviews, prepare pleadings, affidavits and settlements, attend mediations and court appearances.
• Manage client files, maintain timely communication and meet professional conduct obligations.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff as required.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Victorian practicing certificate.
• Minimum 2–4 years post‑admission experience in family law.
• Strong advocacy, drafting and negotiation skills.
• Empathetic client care, excellent communication and time management.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.

Immigration Lawyer - having Unrestricted Lawyer Practicing License

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and representation on visa applications, appeals, ministerial requests, protection/refugee matters, and compliance, including handling key visa subclasses such as Temporary Skill Shortage (subclass 482), Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186), Skilled Independent (subclass 189), Skilled Nominated (subclass 190), Skilled Work Regional (subclasses 491/494), Partner visas (subclasses 820/801 and 309/100), Temporary Graduate (subclass 485), Student (subclass 500), Visitor (subclass 600), Protection (subclass 866) and bridging visas.
• Prepare complex submissions, applications and statutory declarations; represent clients before tribunals and courts; manage ministerial requests and review matters.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of migration law and policy.
• Manage files, client expectations and collaborate with internal teams.

Requirements

• Unrestricted Victorian practicing certificate.
• Minimum 2–4 years post‑admission experience in immigration/migration law.
• Demonstrated experience preparing and managing applications and appeals for the important visa subclasses listed above.
• Proven track record with tribunal appearances and strong written advocacy.
• Client‑focused, organised, and able to work under pressure.
• Eligibility to work in Australia.
