- Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- $40.48 - $44.06 p/hr (LGIA Stream C Level C10 – C7 + Site + Tool Allowance) + Superannuation (depending on qualifications and experience)

We’re hiring a qualified Fitter & Turner with welding/fabrication skills to keep our Council assets in top condition. This role covers a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on both fixed and mobile equipment, including earthmoving machinery, pumps, combustion engines, landscaping gear, street-sweeping vehicles, and structures.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).
What You'll Do
- Experience in repairing and maintaining plant equipment including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Manufacturing, assembly and machining of parts and equipment from raw materials
- Cutting, drilling, welding & grinding of various materials
- Experience in welding/fabrication on mobile plant and various structure
