About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to join MercyCare at our Rockingham Residential Aged Care Home, beautifully nestled alongside Frank Browne Reserve. We are currently offering a permanent part-time opportunity in our fantastic nursing team, dedicated to providing the absolute best possible care for our patients. We have a range of weekday shifts including both monring and afternoon shifts.
At Rockingham, we pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of care. As one of our Registered Nurses, you will provide personalised care, support resident independence, and ensure dignity. Your role will encompass safe medication administration, maintaining high-quality care records, and offering professional support to our clinical team. Your contributions will be pivotal in fostering resident independence and ensuring their overall well-being and dignity.
About you
You are an energetic and self-motivated Registered Nurse seeking to join a dynamic and enthusiastic team. You are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring patient satisfaction. With strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, you share our caring approach for residents and bring:
- Nursing qualification and current AHPRA Registration
- Experience in Aged Care Services with an understanding of current Age Care Quality Standards is preferred.
- Excellent time management and documentation skills
- Strong communication skills with a wide range of people
- COVID and Influenza vaccinations are preferred but not required.
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
