Senior Relationship Executive

Bank of Queensland

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to step into a Senior Relationship Executive role that doesn’t come up often — combining an established, market-leading portfolio with genuine scope to shape and grow it further.

Sitting within BOQ Specialist, you’ll lead a high-quality portfolio of predominantly property-focused, corporate clients, typically operating across mid-market and larger complex transactions. The role is both strategic and hands-on, with accountability for driving lending growth, structuring and executing new deals, and deepening relationships across an already well-developed client base.

You’ll work across corporate lending opportunities (generally up to $100m deals), partnering closely with analysts, credit and key stakeholders to deliver strong customer outcomes, while maintaining a disciplined approach to portfolio management, risk and compliance.

Importantly, this is also a leadership role - you’ll lead and coach a small team of Relationship Executives and Analysts, playing a key role in building capability, elevating performance, and strengthening the broader team culture. With strong internal support and referral channels, this role offers a unique blend of stability, scale and growth potential.

About You

You’re an experienced commercial or corporate banker with a strong track record in managing and growing client portfolios, ideally with exposure to property-led transactions or complex corporate deals. You bring a well-developed understanding of credit, risk and deal structuring, along with the ability to confidently manage relationships across a diverse client base.

Beyond your technical capability, you’re a natural leader who enjoys coaching and developing others. You’re comfortable stepping into a team leadership role, providing guidance to junior bankers, and setting clear expectations to lift performance and capability.

You’re commercially driven, proactive in originating new business, and equally focused on delivering sustainable, quality growth. Strong stakeholder engagement comes naturally to you, and you’re confident influencing across credit, operations and leadership teams to deliver outcomes.

If you’re looking for a role that offers scale, leadership and the opportunity to build on an already high-performing portfolio — this is a standout opportunity.
