Safety Health and Wellbeing Advisor

As our highly valued Safety, Health & Wellbeing Advisor based in Brisbane, and reporting to the Senior Manager People Operations, Safety and Workplace Relations, your role will support the delivery of practical safety, health and wellbeing initiatives across the business, supporting our purpose of helping every Australian own their own home.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Managing workplace injury and illness cases, supporting early intervention, recovery and return-to-work outcomes
• Investigating incidents, identifying risks and partnering with leaders to implement practical safety solutions
• Supporting psychosocial risk management initiatives and mentally healthy workplace practices across the organisation
• Monitoring safety compli ance, reporting, risk assessments a nd int ernal safety processes to help maintain a safe and healthy workplace
• Using safety reporting systems and data insights to identify trends and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Building strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders across all levels and divisions to promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement
• Supporting a contemporary corporate safety environment, with a strong focus on psychosocial wellbeing, hybrid work, injury prevention and proactive risk management.

Do things differently with us

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Experience in a Work Health & Safety role , ideally managing both physical and psychological injury cases
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, risk management and return-to-work practices
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• The confidence to manage sensitive matters with professionalism, discretion and empathy
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships across the business
• Qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Injury Management or a related discipline , with First Aid and Mental Health First Aid qualifications highly regarded
