ICT Contract Specialist

PERSOL is hiring for ICT Contract Specialist to join their Government Client and be part of their ICT sourcing outcomes across departmental programs and initiatives.

This role operates within ICT Strategic Sourcing, with a primary focus on supporting sourcing activities under the Information Technology Contracting Framework.

• Support the development of sourcing approaches to achieve procurement outcomes and realise identified benefits.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end sourcing activities, including market research, procurement planning, development of documentation, evaluation processes and contract establishment.
• Provide informed advice on ICT sourcing processes, procurement approaches and commercial considerations for low to medium complexity procurements, escalating more complex matters as required.
• Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation, including Requests for Quote (RFQs), Statements of Work (SOWs) and evaluation artefacts.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, delivery partners and suppliers to support effective sourcing outcomes.
• Undertake research and analysis to inform procurement activities, sourcing decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues arising through sourcing activities, contributing to their mitigation within established governance frameworks.
• Assist in monitoring compliance to ensure procurement activities align with policy, procedural and commercial requirements.
• Prepare documentation including briefing notes, procurement artefacts and correspondence to support sourcing activities.
• Undertake other duties as required.
• The role may include performance expectations aligned to agreed deliverables and outcomes.
• Experience across public or private sector procurement environments is desirable.
• Demonstrated or developing knowledge of ICT procurement within the QITC framework is required.
