Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join a high-performing Project Services team supporting the delivery of large-scale, complex capital projects within the resources and energy sector.
Roster: 5/2 Perth Based
Start date: July 2026
Duration: approx. 12 months - depending on client requirements
Pay Rate: $95.00 p/h

The Role
This role plays a critical part in ensuring robust planning, scheduling, and project controls across multiple workstreams, supporting successful project execution from early works through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Develop and maintain integrated master and detailed project schedules
- Perform critical path analysis, milestone tracking, and "what-if" scenario planning
- Apply cost and resource loading to project schedules
- Conduct schedule health checks to ensure quality and logic integrity
- Implement and maintain Earned Value Management (EVM), including CPI/SPI reporting and trend analysis
- Integrate contractor schedules into the master project program
- Prepare schedule basis documents and supporting planning deliverables
- Provide accurate weekly and month-end reporting on schedule performance
- Identify early schedule risks, delays, and productivity trends, and provide mitigation insights
- Participate in planning workshops, risk reviews, and change management processes
- Support capital planning cycles and project governance requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Hold The Following
- Minimum 10 years' experience in project planning or project controls roles
- Strong experience in client-side project environments across the full project lifecycle
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Office Suite (Power BI desirable)
- Strong understanding of EVM principles and project performance reporting
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across engineering, procurement, finance, and delivery teams
- Ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on schedule integrity and governance compliance
