Our client is a leading national law firm with an established and highly regarded Government and Public Law practice.

Due to continued growth within the team, an opportunity has arisen for lawyers at all levels — whether you are a newly admitted lawyer looking to build specialist expertise or a Senior Associate seeking high-quality and meaningful work within a growing national practice.

The Role

Working alongside recognised senior practitioners in the field, this role will see you advising and representing a key government client in relation to administrative and merits review matters.

The role will involve a mix of tribunal advocacy, strategic advisory work and complex administrative law matters. You will have the opportunity to conduct appearances before the Administrative Review Tribunal, prepare submissions and evidence, liaise directly with government stakeholders and contribute to broader improvements in administrative decision-making processes.

The Right Person

• 1+ years' experience gained within government, administrative law, insurance or litigation practice

• Experience or a genuine interest in administrative law, merits review or tribunal advocacy

• Strong written communication and analytical skills

• Confident advocacy and stakeholder management abilities; and

• A collaborative approach and strong attention to detail
