Senior Accountant

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join an energetic and progressive firm, in the Eastern suburbs, as a Senior Accountant but with no limit to your growth! The business has been established for a number of years and are growing significantly through word of mouth and referrals, because of this they are seeking an ambitious Senior to support this growth and manage key client relationships.

They work hands on with clients providing advice and adding value to create efficiency, quality and long term success. They work with some significant businesses that vary up to $75 million in turnover and operate in a range of industries, not only providing compliance but also advice to help these clients to continue to grow.

They are looking to secure a high quality Senior Accountant who is capable of looking after a portfolio of clients and act as a direct point of contact, and step towards a Management role within 12 months. You would be responsible for hands on advisory work including board reporting and tax consulting.

About You

To to be successful in this role, it is essential to have:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role across Business Services/Business Advisory
• CA/CPA qualified or close to completion
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to deal directly with clients & manage relationships
• Strong technical knowledge across areas such as CGT, Small Business Concessions & Division 7a
• Proactive, collaborative and able to think on your feet
• Willingness to learn and develop your knowledge in tax
• Ambition to support the businesses growth as well as your personal growth
