Role Overview
Located in Adelaide’s Outer Harbor and reporting directly to the Marine Services Team Leader you will work as part of a team to provide marine services to vessels and meet maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate Flinders Ports launches for pilot transfer, minor maintenance and servicing of main engines and ancillary equipment;
- Prepare statistics and reports of craft activities and performance;
- Assist with maintenance of port assets as required (i.e. wharf and navigation aids);
- Use oil pollution response equipment as necessary under the direction of Transport SA or Flinders Ports emergency response coordinators; and
- Mooring of Vessels.
About You
Your skills and experience will include;
- Master Class V Certificate of Competency;
- Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 of Competency;
- Administrative experience and strong computer literacy;
- Ability and experience working both independently and in teams;
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve; and
- Current Drivers Licence.
Desirable
- Trade Qualification and/or understanding of Electrical systems.
