Junior Planner
Bec + Bridge
We’re Hiring | Junior Planner | BEC + BRIDGE | Sydney Head Office
BEC + BRIDGE is looking for a Junior Planner to join our Merchandise team at our Waterloo Head Office.
If you live and breathe numbers, get excited by a well-built spreadsheet, and love the idea of turning data into decisions that shape what lands in our boutiques and online — we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
This pivotal role supports the Merchandise function by leveraging data, analysis, and forecasting to inform critical commercial decisions. You’ll maintain data accuracy, monitor product performance, and provide actionable insights that ensure optimal product availability across all channels and regions.
The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and proactive — with a genuine passion for transforming data into strategic recommendations that directly impact the bottom line.
What You’ll Be Doing
Commercial Performance & Reporting
• Own daily, weekly, and seasonal trade reports — communicating performance, sales drivers and variances to plan
• Monitor stock availability across all channels and regions, identifying risks and recommending actions to optimise inventory
• Conduct historical analysis and data preparation for seasonal planning and range reviews
• Track and report on new product performance to inform reorder and future ranging strategies
• Lead size curve analysis to drive accurate forecasting and sizing decisions
• Own the end-to-end allocations process across all channels to maximise full-price sell-through
• Manage the full markdown cycle in AP21 — from identifying slow sellers to executing and reviewing markdown events
• Maintain SKU-level reports, core line cards and ad hoc analysis for the Merchandise team
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Support the department’s critical path, ensuring all data, reporting and analysis deadlines are met
• Collaborate daily with Buying, Operations and Ecommerce — listening, contributing, and challenging respectfully when needed
What You’ll Bring
• 2+ years’ experience in merchandise planning or a highly analytical retail/e-commerce role (apparel a bonus, not essential)
• Exceptional numeracy with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into clear commercial recommendations
• Advanced Excel skills — building, auditing and manipulating complex reports with ease
• Solid grasp of inventory management and forecasting principles
• Highly organised, accurate and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with TRS, WSSI, OTB or range planning is a bonus
• A calm, confident communicator who builds strong cross-functional relationships
Why BEC + BRIDGE
We’re a proudly female-founded Australian fashion house known for considered design, beautiful product and a team that genuinely care about each other. We lead with kindness, support one another, and celebrate the people behind the brand.
You’ll join a collaborative team where your work directly shapes what our customers experience across our boutiques and online.
