The Role
The vision for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is ‘exceptional care, healthier lives’. SESLHD is committed to enabling our community to be healthy and well, and to providing the best possible compassionate care when people need it.
Plan, coordinate, and implement in-depth levels of clinical expertise and extensive specialised knowledge within Nutrition and Dietetics in order to provide high quality Dietetic care to patients consistent with NSW Health, South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.
Where You'll be Working
The Prince of Wales Hospital is located in Randwick, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The hospital is undergoing redevelopment and has just opened a new acute services building as part of our large and friendly hospital campus. The hospital is accessible via a light rail service which stops right outside the main entrance, along with a range of bus services.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award
- Recent and relevant experience in a comparable acute hospital setting
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters commensurate with years of experience
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and the application of evidence based practice
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning
