What you'll be doing

Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.

About You

You are a dedicated and highly capable registered nurse with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, bringing a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and hands‑on experience to outpatient and acute hospital environments. You demonstrate a confident command of nursing skills that reflect both technical proficiency and a deep commitment to safe, evidence‑based patient care. Your ability to assess, plan and respond to clinical needs allows you to navigate complex situations with sound judgement, ensuring that patient outcomes remain at the centre of your practice.

You approach clinical challenges with a problem‑solving mindset, drawing on your experience to identify priorities, anticipate risks and implement effective interventions. Your communication style is clear, professional and adaptable, enabling you to engage effectively with patients, families and colleagues. You use information technology, written documentation and verbal communication with equal competence, ensuring continuity of care and supporting informed decision‑making across the team.

You work collaboratively within multidisciplinary environments, coordinating patient care with a focus on achieving measurable, outcome‑based results. Your organisational skills allow you to manage competing demands while maintaining a calm, patient‑centred approach. You contribute positively to team dynamics, recognising the value of shared expertise and collective responsibility in delivering high‑quality healthcare.

You are reliable and flexible, fully prepared to participate in a seven‑day rotating roster that includes public holidays and night duty. Your professionalism, resilience and commitment to patient wellbeing make you a valuable asset in any clinical setting, consistently upholding the standards of contemporary nursing practice.
