What You'll Be Doing

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, evidence-informed care that improves patient outcomes while working closely with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using clinical expertise
  • Deliver timely, culturally appropriate care across varied health needs
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and carers
  • Support and mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
  • Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement

Essential Criteria

  • Registration: Current and valid registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Selection Criteria

  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team
  • Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues
  • Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
  • Capacity to work seven (7) day rotating roster including public holidays.
