Overview of role
Coliban Water is delivering an exciting transformation agenda to support our strategy and strengthen how we serve our customers and communities.
As our Senior Change Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping the organisation successfully navigate and adopt change across major business initiatives. Reporting to the Business Improvement Practice Manager, you’ll work enterprise-wide to deliver strategic change outcomes with a focus on Asset Management systems and processes, while supporting the Operations Transitions program.
You’ll lead the planning and delivery of change and communication activities that support people through transformation—building engagement, capability and long-term adoption across the organisation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in complex environments, influencing stakeholders, coaching leaders and turning change strategies into practical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver change management and communication plans across transformation initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement, impact assessments and change readiness activities
- Design and implement change frameworks, tools and supporting artefacts
- Support and coach leaders and the Change Agent Network to strengthen change capability
- Identify and manage change risks, issues and resistance strategies
- Drive adoption through engagement, communications and training approaches
- Build strong relationships across teams, leaders and external partners
About you
You’ll bring proven experience leading change across enterprise-wide transformation programs and thrive in environments where collaboration and influence are critical.
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Change Manager or Change Manager within complex organisations
- Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, facilitation and coaching
- Experience developing change plans including impact assessments, communications and adoption strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities and deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments
- Change Management qualifications and/or equivalent practical experience

The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 5 $115,162 - $139,851 plus super salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
