This is an opportunity to join the client side directly within a lean and high-performing development and construction team delivering projects across the retail and hospitality sector.
Operating across heavy refurbishments, fit-outs, roll-outs, and selected new build projects valued between $2M–$10M, this business delivers projects within fast-paced live environments with a strong focus on programme, quality, and operational functionality.
This role offers the opportunity to work directly for the client rather than through a consultancy or builder, providing greater ownership, exposure, and long-term career growth within an expanding organisation. If you are astute and commercially driven, with good knowledge of general construction, this is a hands-on opportunity not to be missed.
The Role: $160,000 - $180,000 + super
You will oversee projects through the construction and delivery phases once designs are completed, working closely alongside internal design and development teams.
You will act as the client-side representative managing head contractors directly, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high operational standard.
This is a fast-paced position suited to someone who enjoys live construction environments, quick turnarounds, and managing multiple stakeholders.

Ideal Background
- 5–10 years’ experience within Project Management and/or Contract Administration
- Experience delivering retail, hospitality, restaurant, bars, or club projects is highly regarded
- Strong construction and fit out experience within live environments
- Ability to manage fast-paced projects and multiple stakeholders
- Previous exposure from either a builder or consultancy environment encouraged
- Strong understanding of construction delivery, sequencing, and programme management
- Strong commercial and social skillset
Key Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from post-design through to completion
- Oversee head contractors and project delivery teams directly
- Coordinate programme, budget, quality, and stakeholder management
- Work across retail, hospitality, restaurant, and refurbishment projects
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and operationally ready
- Collaborate closely with internal design and development teams
