Organisational Change Lead / Change Manager

We’re supporting a major Digital Services environment seeking an experienced Organisational Change Lead / OCM to help drive meaningful, people-focused change across a diverse portfolio of digital initiatives.
Operating within an established Change & Engagement function, this role works across projects, programs, platforms, and business initiatives, delivering strategic change capability and embedded support to enable successful digital transformation outcomes.
This is a strong opportunity for a seasoned change professional who enjoys working in complex environments, partnering with stakeholders, and translating digital transformation into practical, business-focused change outcomes.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead and deliver organisational change activities across digital programs and initiatives
- Develop and execute change strategies, communication plans, stakeholder plans, and change assessments
- Support adoption, readiness, capability uplift, and sustainable change outcomes
- Coach change sponsors and support alignment with structured change processes
- Develop high-quality change documentation including plans, strategies, impact assessments, and reporting
- Assess organisational readiness, change capacity, business impacts, and associated risks
- Monitor change effectiveness, adoption, benefits realisation, and ongoing change sustainability
- Work closely with stakeholders across projects, delivery teams, and business functions to align change outcomes with strategic objectives
- Support operating model implementation and broader workforce change initiatives across digital delivery environments
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years’ experience in Organisational Change Management, Change Lead, or similar roles
- Strong experience delivering end-to-end change initiatives including strategy, planning, implementation, and adoption measurement
- Experience operating within complex digital, government, health, or enterprise environments highly regarded
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing capability across operational and executive audiences
- Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging
- Sound judgement, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple initiatives and teams
- Experience working within structured enterprise change frameworks and methodologies
Nice to have
- Change Management certification
- SFIA Level 5 or 6 aligned capability
- Experience within Digital Services, Government, or Health sectors
- Availability to commence from July 2026 or earlier
Role Details
- Canberra preferred location, Flexible with other states
- Hybrid working arrangement – minimum 3 days onsite
- 40-hour work week
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
