The Opportunity

The EBOS Group IT Operations Team is responsible for maintaining the operational effectiveness of EBOS Group of Companies, infrastructure, systems, and services.

The IT Site Support plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization’s IT systems. This position is responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for desktops, laptops, related peripherals and assisting Infrastructure team where necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of hardware and software, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide high quality customer service to end-user The IT Site Support position includes a combination of technical and interpersonal skills.

What you will do

  • Support and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and hardware components.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical issues
  • Adhere to safety and compliance regulations during all on-site service activities
  • Visit various EBOS offices, warehouses and pharmacies across Victoria to provide support
  • Document and update IT procedures, guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with end-users to understand their IT needs and issues.
  • Work on an on-call roster afterhours and weekends
  • Valid driver's license

What we are looking for

  • Minimum five years’ experience working in an IT service desk or support function that includes incident management, problem management, application support, servicing workstation hardware and software, telephony and peripheral (MFDs, scanners, printers) and mobile devices such as smart phones, tablets, and laptops.
  • Formal IT qualifications for Microsoft technologies or a minimum of five years’ relevant experience in a like environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative in identifying and implementing improvements as part of a continuous improvement process.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding IT policy and procedures including Incident, Request, Problem and Change management.
  • Experience with ITSM tools Xurrent would be desirable but not necessary
  • Qualifications and/or industry certifications or industry experience in Information Technology.
  • Understanding of networking principles VLANS, IP addressing and firewalls.
