Electrical Draftsperson

Zenviron are seeking an Electrical Draftsperson to join our Engineering team in Newcastle and support the delivery of high quality electrical design documentation across major infrastructure projects.
Working closely with our Lead Draftsperson, engineers and the wider project team, you will produce accurate, high quality and coordinated electrical drawings and models suitable for construction. This role is well suited to a detail oriented draftsperson who enjoys working in a collaborative engineering environment and contributing to large scale infrastructure projects.
* Prepare drawings for project infrastructure including, Project layouts, HV Substations and BESS Yards (incl. electrical / structural / civil systems), Secondary panel layouts, schematics and terminations, Substation Buildings and equipment layouts, LVAC and LVDC systems, O&M Building and Facility layouts, Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems, Transmission / Overhead Line and Collector Systems.
* Develop detailed models and drawings using AutoCAD
* Incorporate engineering mark ups, design changes, and redlines
* Ensure drawings comply with Australian Standards, client and project requirements
* Maintain drawing registers, revision control, and support project drafting needs including as built documentation
* Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project teams as required
* Follow Zenviron drafting standards, procedures, and WHS requirements.
* Relevant qualification such as an Engineering Drafting Certificate
* Experience in electrical drafting, preferably within the large-scale renewable energy industry and/or on High Voltage (HV) power projects
* Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience in 3D drafting including familiarity with MicroStation or OpenUtilities Substation highly regarded
* Good ability to read, interpret, and draft engineering drawings in CAD
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality outputs
* Willingness to learn, take direction, and develop technical capability
* Able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering team
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
