Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic HVAC supervisor to coordinate & supervise the delivery of HVAC services to our clients in the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas.

This permanent, full-time role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and effective management of HVAC systems for our clients with a hands-on approach, working alongside the team and jumping on the tools if needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of HVAC systems, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate and supervise the team’s workflow whilst providing quality service
  • Assist with job quoting, work with the scheduling team to ensure accurate & effective use of resources and job completion processes.
  • Team payroll processes.
  • Safety compliance, inspections and quality control

Qualifications, skills & experience required:

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Supervisor or in a similar role, job quoting & processes.
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration and Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, or higher
  • NSW Supervisor Licence, refrigerant Handling Licence, current First Aid certificate & current driver’s licence
  • NSW General OHS Construction White Card, Working Safely at Heights and Elevated Work Platform are desirable
  • Ability to – organise effective team and task workflow, monitor employee productivity & provide constructive feedback & mentoring.
  • Strong ability to determine & monitor financial performance to reach desired outcomes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with a passion for yours and your teams performance and results.
  • Knowledge and experience in WHS and trade legislations
  • Intermediate level or higher computer skills
  • Experience working on mine sites or heavy industry will be highly advantageous
  • Be able to complete and pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing. We have a zero tolerance for drugs and alcohol, and testing is ongoing during employment.
