The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead the sales strategy as Director of Sales – Hannah St Hotel, and be part of creating something truly special while building the business from the ground up? In this newly created role, you will shape and execute commercial strategies that elevate market presence, drive revenue, and expand our portfolio’s reach. This opportunity is suited to a driven, relationship-focused sales leader who thrives on securing new business, managing key accounts, and influencing performance through insight, innovation, and a premium, luxury approach.
What you’ll do
- Lead and implement sales strategies to drive revenue across corporate, government, and MICE segments
- Prospect for new business, monitor competitors, and maintain market insights.
- Deliver on KPIs through meetings, business development activity and strategic planning.
- Conduct market analysis, forecasting, segmentation and pipeline management.
- Prepare annual sales strategies, budgets and regular performance reports.
- Build strong internal and external partnerships, including hotels and key stakeholders
- Manage tourism partnerships, VIP site visits, famils and trade‑show representation.
- Work closely with National Sales & Marketing to ensure alignment and reporting accuracy.
As a strategic sales leader, you will bring:
- 2+ years’ experience in a 5-star, luxury or premium senior sales role within hotels.
- Strong track record across corporate, government, and MICE segments, with ability to sell premium experiences
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, securing partnerships, and executing sales strategies
- Established client network with strong negotiation and commercial acumen
- High performance mindset with accountability, sound judgement, and a solutions-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable to varied audiences, with strong stakeholder relationship capability
- Emotionally intelligent, resilient, and collaborative under pressure
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams within an inclusive, high-performing culture
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales data and drive decisions
- Deep understanding of domestic and international MICE markets
- Valid Australian driver’s licence, reliable vehicle.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia, with eligibility to work without sponsorship
