Our client
Our client is a highly specialised team of lawyers and investigators dedicated to pursuing or defending fraud, misconduct or financial crime cases. The firm works across a range of areas including fraud, investigations, royal commissions, anti-bribery and corruption and prosecutions. There is now an exciting opportunity for a Junior Litigation Lawyer to join the team in Melbourne.
The Role
This role will suit candidates with 2 to 6+ years experience across any disputes specialisation (Commercial lit, IP disputes, competition, regulatory matters - ASIC etc), with the day to day function of the role covering commercial litigation, breach of contract, partnership dispute work, trust and fiduciary duties, Corporations Act claims and ASIC and ACL matters as well as the firm's core fraud and investigation workflows. You will have the opportunity for appearance work, management of matters and genuine autonomy and responsibility for matters that will not typically be available in a larger firm.
