Rate: $500/day
Working hours: 7.3 hrs/ day, 36.5 hrs/week
Working arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days on-site
A leading global biotech organisation is seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Senior Analyst, Financial Control to join their finance team on an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will take ownership of year end reporting and financial controls processes, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate and compliant financial outcomes. You will play a key role in supporting the integrity of financial reporting while contributing to broader internal controls and governance initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead year end reporting processes including the management of year end questionnaires and refreshing data loads for financial statements
- Support internal controls reporting activities, including maintenance of the enterprise risk register
- Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance across the team
- Deliver month end support and contribute to the accuracy and timeliness of close activities
- Produce adhoc and payment terms reporting as required by the business
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in financial controls, reporting and accounting; CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent) required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
- Strong working knowledge of AIFRS/IFRS and Australian regulatory and governance requirements
- Experience working with large ERP and consolidation systems such as SAP, Workiva or equivalent; SAP GRC experience highly desirable
