Main Duties

As a Piling Leading Hand, supporting heavy equipment maintenance operations across our workshop yard and project sites. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with heavy civil or piling equipment.

• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with daily workshop and site activities
• Coordinate heavy equipment mechanical maintenance and repairs
• Order workshop consumables, materials, and parts
• Manage deliveries and logistics for the workshop and work sites
• Maintain stock control and inventory records
• Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained safely and efficiently
• Assist with site-based maintenance work as required

Requirements

• Background in heavy equipment mechanical maintenance
• Experience working with piling, civil, mining, or construction equipment preferred
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage materials, deliveries, and workshop stock
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site environments
• Strong commitment to workplace safety
• Current driver’s licence required
