South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) and MEGT Apprenticeship Network Provider are excited to offer Trade Apprenticeship pathways for motivated and trade passionate individuals.

Targeted trades are electrical / plumbing / carpentry and painting. You will gain a Certificate III in your chosen field with the security of employment in a facility that offers diversity of skills training with our ongoing building developments.

The Role

The Apprentice performs trade apprentice duties under the general supervision of Senior Fitter/Machinist or Maintenance Manager. The Apprentice is also required to attend TAFE training each week as part of the standard working week.

Selection Criteria

  • Completion of compulsory secondary education and must be eligible to enrol in the relevant TAFE trade course.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with commitment to resident focused service.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a wide variety of tasks.
  • Current drivers licence with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
  • First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain.
