PostgreSQL Developer

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to lead a SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration using AWS SCT and AWS DMS.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in at least one full-cycle heterogeneous migration and strong expertise in both SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead migration from SQL Server to PostgreSQL using AWS SCT and AWS DMS
• Convert T-SQL procedures, functions, and triggers to PL/pgSQL
• Configure and manage full load and CDC replication using AWS DMS
• Ensure data validation, integrity testing, and post-migration checks
• Troubleshoot migration issues and ensure smooth cutover
• Work directly with customer stakeholders and deliver independently

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years SQL Server DBA experience
• Experience with PostgreSQL architecture
• At least one end-to-end database migration project
• Strong understanding of T-SQL vs PL/pgSQL and platform differences
• Hands-on experience with AWS SCT and AWS DMS (full load + CDC)
