We’re now looking for a like-minded Assistant Building Surveyor to join our Tribe, someone self-driven, stoic under pressure, and focused on getting things done. If you can think critically, act reliably, and bring positive energy to the team, you’ll fit right in with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess building permit applications for domestic projects (Class 1 & 10 buildings).
• Reassess Requests for Further Information (RFIs) and assist clients with addressing outstanding items.
• Review building permit amendments.
• Handle client and stakeholder communications – manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries with a responsive and professional attitude.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and our team to ensure everyone stays informed and projects run smoothly from start to finish.

Experience

• Credentials: We are open to candidates from a range of construction industry backgrounds, including Permit Coordinators, Draftspersons, Estimators, Building Inspectors or similar roles. This position would suit someone who is serious about advancing into a Building Surveyor role and building a long-term career with our Tribe.
• Work Style: Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
