We are partnering with a range of highly regarded private specialist practices and healthcare organisations who require experienced support staff across a variety of assignments. Previous private specialist practice experience is essential.

As our temporary division continues to grow, several new assignments have become available this week.

Medical Receptionist – A leading Podiatry practice located in Newmarket is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to assist throughout the month of June. The successful candidate will be responsible for front of house reception duties including greeting patients, managing phones, scheduling appointments and processing payments. Previous private specialist practice experience together with Cliniko software experience is essential. The assignment will run for one month with shifts available Wednesday 12:00pm – 6:30pm, Friday 12:00pm – 6:00pm and Saturday 7:30am – 4:30pm. The practice is open to splitting shifts across multiple temporary staff to accommodate availability and existing schedules.

Medical Receptionist/Secretary – An elective Laser Eye Surgery practice based in Fortitude Valley is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist/Secretary to assist with the efficient running of patient clinics. The role will involve supporting the Surgeons with front of house administration, presenting theatre quotations, booking in-room procedures, and processing patient billing and receipting. This temporary assignment is available for an immediate start and will be offered on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week. Typical shifts will be rostered between 8:00am – 6:00pm, with some variation depending on clinic requirements. While Saturday mornings are generally covered by the practice’s casual team member, there may also be occasions where additional assistance is required.

Medical Receptionist – A busy specialised General Practice based in South Brisbane is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to support a multidisciplinary team including General Practitioners, Social Workers, Nurses, Allied Health professionals and a Dental team. The role will involve assisting with the smooth day-to-day flow of clinics including meeting and greeting patients, booking and rescheduling appointments, processing patient billing and receipting, together with general front of house administration duties. The practice uses both Best Practice and Cliniko software platforms. This temporary assignment will be offered on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm.

Medical Receptionist – A busy Dermatology practice based on Brisbane’s Northside is seeking experienced temporary support during staff leave across June and July 2026. Working within a fast-paced specialist environment, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of patient clinics including processing patient billing, responding to incoming enquiries, booking follow-up appointments and supporting the efficient flow of the practice. Previous experience using Xestro software is highly desirable. All shifts are scheduled from 8:00am – 4:30pm, with the practice requiring support on Thursdays and Fridays from Friday 5th June through to Friday 24th July 2026.

Medical Administrator – An established Gastroenterology practice based at The Wesley Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Administrator to assist during a planned practice shut-down period while permanent staff are on leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all incoming correspondence and enquiries are managed efficiently via phone and email during this time. Previous experience using Genie software is essential due to the minimal training and handover available. This temporary assignment will be working Monday, Wednesday and Friday with shifts scheduled either 9:00am – 1:00pm or 8:00am – 12:00pm.

Medical Receptionist/Secretary – A busy group Gastroenterology practice based in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist/Secretary to provide temporary support within their specialist clinic. Working within a collaborative team environment, you will assist with the day-to-day coordination of patient appointments, front of house reception, patient enquiries and general medical administration duties. Previous experience using Gentu software is essential. This assignment will be offered Monday to Friday working 38 hours per week, with the practice also open to considering a 9-day fortnight arrangement. Onsite car parking is provided.

Medical Receptionist/Administrator – An established and busy General Physician based at the Mater in South Brisbane is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist/Administrator to provide temporary support three days per week. Working Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, you will be responsible for managing incoming telephone enquiries, coordinating patient appointments, following up pathology and radiology results, and generating patient correspondence and reports. This role will suit an experienced medical administrator who enjoys working within a fast-paced specialist environment and can assist in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. To be closely considered for Temp and/or Contract roles with Litton Andrews, you will have:

  • A minimum of 12 months industry experience working within a private specialist practice
  • Sound knowledge of medical and billing software including at least one of the following: Genie, Gentu, and/or Xestro
  • Proficient computer skills, with a sound knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with uncompromising attention to detail
  • General understanding of medical terminology and the importance of patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with your working availability, including a high level of enthusiasm and resilience to adapt to varying practice environments
  • An understanding of Medicare, DVA, Workcover and Private Health Fund billing would be advantageous
