Commercial Manager

ConsultANZ is looking for an experienced Commercial Manager in the Brisbane central area. Our client is a globally known geotechnical contractor, and this hands-on role focuses on pre-contract activities, contract negotiation, and supporting operational delivery across projects.

• $170-210k + super, negotiable depends on experience
• Fixed-term contract with potential to transition to Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract negotiations and preparation of contracts with clients.
• Support operational delivery from a commercial perspective.
• Monitor and manage commercial aspects of projects, including risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure contracts meet operational and commercial requirements.
• Provide guidance on contractual matters, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

Skills & Experience Required

• Strong Quantity Surveying or Contract Administration background.
• Solid understanding of commercial management principles.
• Some legal training or experience is highly desirable to complement QS/CA expertise.
• Excellent contract negotiation skills with pre-contract focus.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to changing business requirements.
• Experience in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 construction/civil engineering environment preferred.
