About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support a large-scale infrastructure migration from the Tooronga Data Centre to the Brooklyn Data Centre. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of complex migration activities involving business-critical systems and infrastructure.

You will work closely with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to coordinate detailed migration runbooks, manage logistics, and ensure minimal disruption to business operations during the transition.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Migration Planning & Coordination Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, run sheets, and execution runbooks
  • Coordinate end-to-end migration activities across multiple technical workstreams
  • Track dependencies, risks, issues, and timelines to ensure successful delivery
  • Stakeholder & Team Coordination Liaise with internal stakeholders including infrastructure, network, application, and security teams
  • Coordinate large cross-functional technical teams during planning and execution phases
  • Provide clear communication, updates, and reporting to stakeholders at all levels
  • Vendor & Third-Party Management Engage and coordinate with external vendors and service providers
  • Schedule vendor support aligned to migration windows and critical cutovers
  • Track vendor deliverables to ensure commitments are met
  • Logistics & Asset Movement Coordinate equipment transport between Tooronga and Brooklyn Data Centre
  • Manage scheduling, tracking, and secure handling of physical infrastructure relocation
  • Work with logistics providers to ensure timely and safe movement of assets
  • Corporate internet relocation involving business-critical application integrations
  • Physical and virtual Windows server migrations
  • Assist with cutover planning, validation, and post-migration support activities
  • Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate documentation of migration activities, risks, and outcomes
  • Produce RAID logs, status reports, and post-migration summaries
  • Ensure all migration artefacts are up to date and audit-ready

Requirements and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator supporting infrastructure or data centre migration projects
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including:
  • Windows server environments
  • Network and connectivity (WAN, internet, and critical integrations)
  • Data centre operations
  • Demonstrated experience creating and managing detailed runbooks/run sheets
  • Strong stakeholder coordination experience across technical and business teams
  • Excellent organisational and scheduling skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party service providers
  • Exposure to infrastructure relocation and logistics coordination highly desirable
  • 6 months contract
