Details: Capital Linen Service (CLS) is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to fill a short-term opportunity as Assistant Director, Business Management based in our commercial laundry in Mitchell.
In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Branch Manager to deliver high-quality financial and business management services in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment. You will lead day-to-day business management activities and provide strategic advice to support sound decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering end-of-month processes, management reporting and variance analysis.
- Contributing to budget development, forecasting and financial modelling.
- Supporting risk management, governance and compliance activities.
- Improving financial and operational reporting, including dashboards and data analysis.
- Providing leadership, coaching and guidance to staff.
- Contributing to business improvement and system enhancement initiatives.

Eligibility/Other Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field along with professional membership of CPA/ICA are highly desirable.
- Well-developed experience working with complex spreadsheets and financial management systems, in particular TM1 and Oracle, would be an advantage.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of three months with the possibility of extension up to six months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
