The Role
We are seeking an IT Systems Analyst to provide senior Level 2/3 escalation support and operational administration across SMCT’s core IT services.
Reporting to the Senior IT Analyst, this role will support server, endpoint, identity, access and cyber security environments, while contributing to technical projects, uplift activities and continuous improvement. You will work across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, networking, monitoring tools and security remediation activities, providing practical solutions in a busy environment with competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2/3 escalation support across server, endpoint, identity, access and security environments
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
- Support Windows SOE, device provisioning and endpoint management using Intune and Windows Autopilot
- Monitor ICT services and infrastructure, responding to alerts, incidents and recurring issues
- Contribute to cyber security uplift, including vulnerability remediation, hardening and risk reduction activities
- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors and senior technical staff to resolve issues and deliver improvements
- Maintain accurate ICT documentation, knowledge base articles, registers and reporting
- Support technical projects, business analysis activities and site based work as required
Your Profile
- Experience in a Level 2/3 systems administration or infrastructure operations role
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune and Windows Autopilot
- Strong cyber security mindset with experience supporting remediation or uplift activities
- Ability to investigate complex incidents, identify root causes and implement practical solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with stakeholders, vendors and technical teams
- Proactive, organised and able to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
- Current valid driver’s licence and flexibility to attend multiple sites as required
