About the role

Join VMCH in a rewarding Program Coordinator role based in Wangaratta where you will lead and support the Afternoon Activities and School Holiday Programs for children with a disability.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and values-driven professional to provide leadership, coordinate high-quality services, and help shape innovative, person-centred programs.

This position is full time Monday to Friday; flexible commencement times but you must be available until 6.00pm every day.

About you

You will be experienced working with children with a disability to provide activities that are engaging for the participants.

  • Experience in coordinating disability, respite, community or related human services programs.
  • Certificate IV Disability or similar, experience in an education highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Sound knowledge of the disability sector, including NDIS, relevant legislation and current best practice.
  • Well-developed communication, problem-solving and complaint resolution skills.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate and a valid Victorian Driver License.
