More About the Role

As a Control Systems Engineer, you’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle - from design and programming through to testing, commissioning, and client handover.

Key responsibilities include

Design, develop, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA control systems

Produce and review engineering documentation including functional design specifications

Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

Work in a team to provide ongoing technical support throughout project delivery

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, quality systems, and technical standards

This role is based from our Warabrook office, with travel to client sites on occasion.

More About You

You are a motivated and technically capable engineer who enjoys solving complex automation challenges and working closely in project teams.

You will bring

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline

experience in control systems or automation engineering

PLC programming capability

Experience with SCADA systems

Knowledge of control system engineering practices including IT networks, and instrumentation

The ability to prepare technical documentation and contribute to project delivery outcomes

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Strong time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving capability

Experience within mining surface operations including CHPPs, stockyard machines, or bulk materials handling operations will be highly regarded.
