An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a highly regarded insurance practice working across complex disputes and sensitive special issues matters. This role sits within a collaborative and high-performing team acting for sophisticated institutional clients on high-profile and meaningful work.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of Insurance/Injury/Abuse experience, including sensitive personal injury and abuse-related claims, while working closely with respected leaders in the field.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and advising on complex insurance and dispute matters
- Conducting legal research and providing commercially focused advice
- Reviewing case law and legislative developments
- Managing client relationships and delivering strategic outcomes
- Handling sensitive and challenging matters with professionalism and empathy
- Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers within the team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Approximately 2+ years’ PAE in insurance litigation, personal injury or related disputes
- Strong technical, analytical and drafting skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
- The ability to work autonomously while thriving in a collaborative team environment
- Strong commercial acumen and a practical approach to problem solving
- A genuine interest in building a long-term career within insurance litigation
