NEW ROLE - Exciting new In-house role in Melbourne office of leading professional services and consultancy organisation operating primarily in the financial services space.
Our client
Our client is a leading professional services and consultancy organisation with a strong commitment to social justice. Recognised for its innovative approach this firm is rapidly growing with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and London. There is now an opportunity for a Legal Counsel to work closely with the General Counsel in Melbourne across risk, compliance and BAU contractual matters
The Role
This role will suit candidates with 2 to 6 years experience in either risk, compliance, governance or commercial. This role is varied and will include providing advise across risk and compliance, governance policies, contracts, privacy and cyber compliance as well as BAU operational contracts and corporate matters. This is a true Legal Counsel role working closely with the General Counsel across the groups general commercial operations and the client is open applicants from a variety of backgrounds
This is a 12 month maternity leave contract with prospects of permanency.
