Front - End Construction Lawyer

We are working with a top-tier national law firm based in Brisbane for a Lawyer to join their Front-End Construction team.

The Role

The successful candidate will join a Tier 1 Projects and Construction practice advising clients across a broad range of sectors including energy, infrastructure, government, waste, water, transport and real estate development. The role involves working on major national and international projects, with a focus on front-end construction, project acquisition and development matters.

The position includes advising on project structuring, procurement strategy, contract drafting and negotiation, and broader project delivery issues across complex infrastructure and development projects. Key responsibilities also include supporting renewable energy and infrastructure mandates involving wind, solar and battery storage projects, while working closely with developers, investors, contractors and public sector clients.

Essential Criteria

• 1-5 years’ PQE;
• Front-end construction law experience;
• Commercial awareness;
• Excellent academics;
• Ability to build upon existing and new client relationships;
• Strong communication skills;
• Team player;
• Technically excellent.
