AI Engineer - AWS

Nuage has partnered with an Australian enterprise energy provider to bring on GenAI Platform Engineers for a greenfield AI platform build.

These are hands-on roles for engineers with strong development or platform backgrounds who have moved into AI through building, scaling, and owning production platforms. Ideally, you've delivered enterprise-grade AI implementations and want to do it again at scale.

The role

You'll be building and operating production grade agentic AI infrastructure from scratch across a large enterprise environment. The project will span GenAI implementation, ML platform builds and internal AI tooling. The business has already invested heavily in AI and continues to expand aggressively. These teams are heavily embedded in modern AWS AI tooling and expect engineers who can operate across platform, infrastructure, and applied AI delivery.

What you'll need

• Production experience with Bedrock including knowledge base configuration, RAG pipeline integration.
• Hands-on experience with AgentCore for managed agent execution and session lifecycle management.
• Strong LLM integration skills across prompt engineering, tool-use patterns and context window management.
• Exposure to multi-agent orchestration including A2A communication and intent routing.
• Structured logging, distributed tracing and LLM-specific metrics.
• Bonus point for experience within the energy sector
