We currently have one fixed term, full-time role for immediate filling

We are establishing an appointment pool for vacancies that arise up to 12 months from the first appointment.

Appointments may be made on a full-time, part-time, casual, permanent or fixed-term basis with possible further term and and/or permanency.

Suitable candidates will be placed in the appointment pool from which opportunities may be offered as vacancies arise. Candidates may also be considered for similar positions within South Metropolitan TAFE as they arise during the life of the pool. If the appointment pool is exhausted prior to the pool expiry date, we reserve the right to supplement the pool through further advertising.

About the role

The Business Development Consultant is responsible for developing initiatives which assist business development for SM TAFE. The role will manage the implementation and maintenance of processes aligned to business development.

The position is also responsible for undertaking complex research and analysis and will provide tender and contract management services to Training Services. Additionally, the role will provide support to tender and contract development, contract compliance, researching new markets and support strategies to provide more extensive and proactive commercial fee for service and profile funded services.
