A little about the role

As a Team Manager (Professional Foster Care), you will lead a small team through the implementation and delivery of the exciting new Professional Foster Care pilot program in Queensland.

Oversee and drive all aspects of the program from marketing, carer recruitment, carer assessment, through to complex placement support. This role is more than just a leadership or management role and requires a hands-on approach to be taken, as KAA design, build and implement the program.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Provide line management, supervision, coaching and training to the team to ensure high quality, culturally responsive practice.
  • Deliver services to clients, including but not limited to, complex case management, assessment, intake and risk screening, case planning, case reviews, co-service delivery and critical incident response.

The base salary for this position is $110,102.72 - $114,983.44 per annum (based on 1.0EFT) + super + vehicle & fuel card + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This is a full-time, contract position ending 31 January 2028.
