Where you'll be working
This position will be based at the Mindgardens office within the Acute Services building, Prince of Wales hospital in Randwick.
The Role
Mindgardens Neuroscience Network Limited (Mindgardens) is a registered charity formed by SESLHD and UNSW Sydney focusing exclusively on transforming support for mental health, addiction & behavioural neuroscience.
Mindgardens breaks down barriers between academic researchers, clinicians and consumers, amplifying missing voices to challenge conventional thinking. Building on the expertise of our Members and partners, we translate new insights rapidly into everyday practice, integrating patient healthcare with research and education to reshape the understanding, prevention, treatment and care of mental health, drug and alcohol, and neurological disorders.

The Executive Officer will work within a close-knit team and play an integral role within Mindgardens by providing high-level and dedicated support to the Executive Director and executive team as well as support to relevant stakeholders.
The Executive Officer significantly contributes to the planning, implementation and monitoring of relevant operational and strategic projects supporting the delivery of Mindgardens strategic goals. The role provides high-level advice and executive support to the Executive Director and Mindgardens executive team to deliver on key projects and objectives including the development of quality documentation such as reports, briefs and presentations. The Executive Officer position sits within the SESLHD Strategy, Innovation & Improvement Directorate, and will be seconded to Mindgardens. The role may require some movement across the Mindgardens member organisations in accordance with the demands of the position.
The role is a maternity leave cover for 12 months.
