We’re on the lookout for a motivated and professional Business Development Manager to join Elevate Media and Gladstone News. A rare and exciting opportunity is available for an experienced BDM for a 6+ month maternity cover position.This is a dynamic position focused on team leadership, business growth, client relationship management, customer service excellence, and strategic marketing solutions. Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will play a key role in managing client accounts, supporting internal teams, driving revenue opportunities, and maintaining strong community and business relationships throughout the Gladstone region. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support day to day team operations across both businesses
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships
Manage client campaigns from concept through to delivery
Deliver exceptional customer service and communication
Coordinate with creative, marketing, and sales teams to achieve client outcomes
Prepare proposals, presentations, and marketing recommendations
Assist in strategic planning, business growth initiatives, and sales targets
Maintain a professional and positive presence within the local business community
Oversee client satisfaction, retention, and ongoing account management
