We are seeking a motivated and experienced IT Technical Specialist to join Enterprise Solutions and Technology.
As an IT Technical Specialist (Network), you will play a crucial role in providing technical advice, engineering oversight, change management and governance for our Secure Internet Gateway and broader network services within a large, complex enterprise environment.
You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security and scalability of network and gateway services by applying strong network and security architecture principles across on-premises and cloud-based environments. The role includes providing expert input into solution design, overseeing change implantation, and ensuring services align with organisational standards, risk frameworks and security requirements.
You will manage and influence relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers, ensuring operational performance, service delivery outcomes and continuous improvement objectives are met. You’ll contribute to uplifting team capability through technical leadership, coaching and knowledge sharing, supporting a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
This role operates across business-as-usual, project and enhancement activities, and provides leadership through periods of change by supporting stakeholders and team members through new ways of working, technology uplift and service transformation initiatives.
You will lead by example and advocate for technological advances to support improved efficiencies.
This role will require participation in an on call rotation to support after hours activity as part of the ongoing operation of enterprise network services.
This role may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Brisbane CBD, Canberra or Melbourne CBD.
