The Team
A&M is rapidly expanding its presence in Australia, and we’re looking to hire a talented Manager or Associate Director into our growing Perth R&T team. You will work on some of the country’s (and sometimes the world’s) most interesting, complex, and high-profile advisory and insolvency engagements!
We’re a close-knit team, offering fantastic leadership, mentorship, and collaboration both locally and nationally. You’ll be part of a team that’s not only scaling but also actively building and extending our local presence, with the backing of A&M’s global reach and financial strength.
How You Will Contribute
We’re targeting and working on larger-scale, formal restructuring work with major clients across a range of industries. You’ll be exposed to trading voluntary administrations, receiverships, liquidations and advisory roles, contributing to impactful mandates that shape outcomes for businesses in transition.
Your responsibilities will include -
- Analysing and interpreting financial statements to assess business viability and identify key risks.
- Conducting cash flow reviews and preparing financial models to support turnaround strategies.
- Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to stakeholders, including boards, creditors, and management.
- Consideration of regulatory frameworks and basic legislation to manage risk.
- Managing multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Assisting with training and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications
To experience success and fulfilment in this role, you'll ideally bring the following -
- Informal restructuring and turnaround experience and/or formal insolvency experience, ideally from a specialised consulting organisation or Big 4 environment
- A relevant Degree and CA qualification (or at least close to completing this)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to stakeholders
- Impressive analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modelling and data analysis.
- A positive and entrepreneurial mindset, with adaptability, collaboration, and a passion to achieve
- A strong team player with a genuine interest in contributing to a good team culture
