Lead Site Manager

Summary

We’re currently seeking an experienced Lead Site Manager to take ownership of a $28m commercial construction project located near Perth Airport. This is a key leadership role delivering a high-profile project for a long-standing client relationship, with the project exceptionally well resourced from both a commercial and operational perspective.

This opportunity would suit a professional Site Manager who not only drives programme and subcontractor performance, but is also confident managing client relationships, project reporting, and site administration to a high standard.

The Client

You'll be joining a tier 2, privately owned commercial & industrial head contractor, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the industrial, commercial, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use sectors. Known for their hands-on leadership team and collaborative approach, they have established themselves as a builder that prioritises strong client relationships, programme certainty, and quality delivery.

The Role

• Lead all on-site operations from commencement through to practical completion
• Manage daily coordination of subcontractors, programme, safety, and quality outcomes
• Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial team to ensure smooth project delivery
• Oversee an experienced Site Supervisor
• Maintain strong communication with the client and consultants throughout the build
• Drive site paperwork, reporting, QA documentation, and compliance processes
• Lead site meetings and provide clear project updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure high standards across site presentation, finishes, and delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects as a Site Manager within Australia
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to paperwork, reporting, and project administration
• Ability to lead site teams and manage subcontractor performance effectively
• Strong understanding of programme management, safety, and QA processes
• Stable background working with reputable commercial builders
